School supply project a success!

You may recall a couple weeks ago, the New Church of Montgomery joined in the efforts of Operation Giveback to give students in the Sycamore school district a chance to enter school with the supplies they needed. Helpers donated goods and aided families in their search to fulfill school supply lists. Here are some pictures from the event! Our church will volunteer in conjunction with Operation Giveback on 8/12/17, to help families in the Sycamore School district shop for free school supplies for the coming year. Donate the gift of your time to this helpful endeavor! Click here for the sign up. Also, if you’d like to donate school supplies (it’s tax free weekend!) you can bring any of the following to church this Sunday the 6th:

NEW or UNUSED items:  1″ or 1.5″ binders, Dividers, Folders, Notebooks, Pens, Pencils, Ear Buds, Flash Drives,Backpacks, Ziploc Bags, Tissues, Hand Sanitizer, Paper Towels

You are invited to sign up as a part of our New Church of Montgomery group for the Saturday, 8/12, from 11:15 am to 12:45 pm, slots as Table Stockers (only 4 spots left) or Personal Shoppers (8 spots remaining), or of course at other times and/or for other spots as it suits your preference and schedule.
