Toy Swap Delivers the Goods

Wednesday was a great day. Members and friends of the New Church of Montgomery delivered toys and funds from our 2nd Annual Toy Swap to our friends at Bethany House Services. Bethany House helps women and children in need of emergency housing throughout the Cincinnati region. In donating toys and money from our outreach project, we hope to connect with these women and their families; bring a little gleam to a child’s eye and help our own children to share what they have with others.

Here’s Leo lending a hand with the lighter bags!

Sharing our holiday spirit

On Saturday, a small but mighty force of Swedenborgians got into the holiday spirit by becoming personal shoppers for the day. Not just your ordinary shopping, though. Through, Operation Give Back, a Blue Ash, OH-based organization, Gloria, Brenda and Pete of the New Church of Montgomery offered their afternoon to help some underserved celebrants brighten their Christmas season.ogb
