#Easter Reflections

We are so glad to have had so many visitors and familiar faces on Sunday and to share Reverend Terry Schnarr’s message that the glorified humanity of Jesus was and is God.

We had beautiful flowers, joyful smiles, many wonderful musical selections and participants, organizers, giddy children enjoying the egg-hunt and people nourished by good food! We are thankful.

Pictures from Easter Celebration

We enjoyed a lovely c0-congregational Easter celebration with the Glendale New Church on Sunday. A great turnout for the pancake breakfast was had, which included art and regular pancakes, sausage, bacon, fruit, coffee and tea! During church, we sang many hymns with live piano music, and dressed the altar with bouquets and potted plants. Guest minister, Rev. Terry Schnarr of Kitchener, Ontario, joined us for the Easter message which focused on ideas of God within us, our relationship with a tangible God as he appeared in flesh and bone, and Jesus’ resurrection as the completion of His plan for Himself. We said prayers for our loved ones, and shared our observations about Rev. Schnarr’s message.

The children (who were many!) talked about our many Easter gifts of family, friends, laughter and “hatched” a plan for a better Earth! After church, the children paired up and hunted for Easter eggs, some of which contained sidewalk chalk. We are happy to report, this led to some messages of “I love Cherch!” inscribed on the walk out front:)
