Friends,
We will gather this Sunday for an informal worship service beginning at 11 AM.
The normal humanity of Jesus is starkly shown to us in the story of his homecoming when those who knew him best rejected him and he quotes an old saying:
“A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his relatives and his own family.” (Mark 6:4).
Perhaps we all should be afraid we may reject the Lord’s love when it comes into our lives! We will discuss how we can practice attending to our thoughts and feelings and discern their quality.
And then we will share a meal together of tacos from Tortillaria Garcia!
