In addition to, or in lieu of volunteering, Church Members are encouraged to donate school supplies and drop them off at church this Sunday the 29th for delivery on the 6th of August.
Operation Give Back is hosting a School Supply Giveaway on Saturday, August 11, for students who attend Sycamore Schools and Stewart Elementary. With support from countless friends of OGB – area churches, including Montgomery Community Church, local businesses, families and staff from neighboring school districts (including Sycamore, Indian Hill, and Loveland), and many more – we are able to provide hundreds of students with backpacks and school supplies as they prepare for the all-important first day of school!
To make this happen, we need YOU! Please consider volunteering your time to serve and interact with these wonderful children and their families. With adequate staffing, we can ensure that our guests are warmly welcomed, complete their shopping in a timely manner, and take with them the sense of fellowship that is the core of Operation Give Back.
Below are the different serving opportunities. Please be aware of the DATES and TIMES. All events will take place at our OGB home (10891 Millington Court, 45242). We are asking that Table Stockers and Clean Up Crew be 10 years or older, and that Personal Shoppers be 18 years or older. Adults, we ask that you consider serving as a Personal Shopper…these are often difficult spots to fill, yet it is such an important and rewarding role.
