#FridayFeeling Art as Resistance: Paul Klee, Ivan Aguéli and Swedenborg

At Moderna Museet in Stockholm in 2016, an exhibition focused on the artists Paul Klee and Ivan Aguéli. “As the world speeded up, they chose to linger with their gaze, searching for the “fourth dimension” (Aguéli), or “another possible world” (Klee).” In the exhibition Swedenborg’s writings (which were read by Agueli) were juxtaposed to the artists’ own; showing “a metamorphosis from object to immateriality.”

They sought through their lives and art, “what values, mankind should address the present and meet the future.” http://artdaily.com/index.asp?int_sec=11&int_new=84379
