During the school year, many families’ children receive free or reduced breakfasts and lunches by utilizing the school’s cafeteria; a valuable resource in keeping children nourished. In the summer, this resource is not available, and families have to look elsewhere with help in feeding their kids.
This Sunday, The New Church of Montgomery is partnering with Christy Wethington, a community-minded individual, who has made collecting 520 household goods and food for the Reach Out Lakota food pantry by 5/20 (May 20) her priority. Please help kids of the Lakota school district by bringing your contribution to the Glendale New Church this Sunday, and we’ll help keep our kids’ faces smiling this summer.
